So the short answer is it varies wildly from a $500 simple site to a $3000 site (that saves you $20,000 a year in employee costs). We can fit your budget.  Our hourly rate is $75, which may sound high, but we only charge for the time we plan to spend building your site, outside of phone calls and talking with you, and I would add our rate is much lower than the $125+ that some firms charge!  We provide hosting free with a Joomla! Support Package of $35 (other hosting providers do not support Joomla! or your website), which includes keeping your software update to prevent security exploits and hacks.
